Making a Splash in Lake Geneva

Timber Ridge Lodge is an award-winning indoor waterpark and all-suite hotel, blending convenience and classic resort luxury in Lake Geneva. Just 60 minutes from Milwaukee and 90 from Chicago, guests have access to 1,300 acres of Wisconsin woodland, a winter ski hill and summer adventure center, two championship golf courses, and numerous dining options – it’s the perfect spot for the family vacation of a lifetime.

The Challenge

We began our partnership with Timber Ridge Lodge and the team at Marcus Hotels & Resorts as they dealt with a lack of historical performance data and reporting to facilitate growth in their digital strategy.

The Results

Wallop worked hard to form open lines of communication, providing the resort team with full ownership over their data and access to detailed digital marketing performance reports. We ensured their ad accounts were fed with conversion data and optimized accordingly,  since launch, performance has been improving constantly and consistently. 

Using channel performance to guide our strategy and budget distribution, with a mix of both awareness and conversion campaigns across multiple platforms, has resulted in continued growth and the best return on ad spend the property has seen in recent years. In 2022, we achieved a 10:1 return on ad spend.

With an overall industry slow-down for resorts in the U.S. due to the return of international travel, we are proud to see Timber Ridge Lodge reporting strong PPC channel growth.
